Acceptance Of Terms

By accessing, browsing, or using this website, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree with any portion of these terms, please discontinue use of the website.

Orders, quotations, commercial projects, and other transactions may also be subject to additional written terms provided by Fifeco LLC. Where Fifeco LLC and a customer enter into a separate written agreement governing a particular transaction, the terms of that agreement will apply to that transaction to the extent specifically provided therein.

Our Commitment To Customer Satisfaction

At Fifeco Woodworks, customer satisfaction is our highest priority. We stand behind our craftsmanship and will work with our customers to reach a fair and reasonable resolution whenever a problem arises.

While these Terms & Conditions establish the general policies governing website use, purchases, and commercial transactions, our goal is always to treat customers fairly and professionally.

Products & Product Descriptions

We strive to provide accurate product descriptions, dimensions, photographs, and specifications. However, because many of our products are handcrafted from natural materials, slight variations may occur.

Product photographs are representative examples and should not be interpreted as guaranteeing an identical appearance for every item unless expressly stated otherwise.

Natural Wood Characteristics

Fifeco Woodworks products made from natural hardwoods may exhibit variations in grain pattern, color, figure, mineral streaks, knots, character markings, and other naturally occurring characteristics. These variations contribute to the uniqueness of each piece.

No two pieces of natural wood are identical. Natural variation is not considered a defect and is not grounds for return solely because of differences in appearance.

Dimensions & Handcrafted Tolerances

Because many of our products are handcrafted and made from natural materials, minor dimensional variations may occur. Measurements listed on product pages are approximate unless expressly identified as required specifications or tolerances.

Custom and commercial work may be produced according to separately established dimensions, specifications, tolerances, drawings, approved samples, or other written requirements applicable to the project.

Custom Orders

Custom orders may include customer-selected dimensions, wood species, engravings, artwork, design features, and other personalized specifications.

Customers are responsible for reviewing and approving custom project details before production begins. Once production has started, changes may not be possible and may require additional charges, revised pricing, or changes to the completion schedule.

Business-to-Business & Commercial Transactions

Fifeco LLC can provide products and services to businesses, organizations, commercial customers, designers, developers, resellers, and other professional or institutional customers.

Commercial and business-to-business transactions may be governed by quotations, purchase orders accepted by Fifeco LLC, invoices, project specifications, statements of work, or separate written agreements establishing requirements specific to the applicable transaction.

Unless expressly agreed otherwise in writing, entering into a contractual relationship with Fifeco LLC does not create an employment relationship, partnership, joint venture, or agency relationship.

Commercial Orders, Quotations & Payment Terms

Commercial orders and business-to-business transactions may be subject to pricing, deposits, advance payments, progress payments, minimum quantities, scheduling requirements, production requirements, delivery terms, or other conditions established for the applicable transaction.

Payment requirements and other commercial terms will be those stated in the applicable quotation, invoice, accepted order, purchase order acknowledgment, or separate written agreement.

Unless expressly agreed otherwise in writing by Fifeco LLC, no customer is entitled to credit terms, deferred payment, or any particular payment arrangement based upon prior transactions, industry practice, order volume, or the payment terms provided to another customer.

Fifeco Intellectual Property, Processes, Methods & Know-How

Fifeco LLC retains ownership of its intellectual property, knowledge, capabilities, methods, techniques, processes, systems, and know-how except where Fifeco LLC expressly agrees otherwise in writing.

Fifeco processes and know-how may include, without limitation, production and fabrication processes; construction and assembly methods; work processes and workflows; production sequencing; single-item, batch-production, and scalable-production methods and systems; capacity-development methods; machine setup and operating methods; programming approaches; tooling strategies; tool selection and application methods; workholding and fixturing methods; templates and jigs; finishing processes; quality-control methods; production planning; shop organization; workflow design; efficiency improvements; and other methods, techniques, procedures, systems, processes, or know-how developed, owned, or independently used by Fifeco LLC.

The use, adaptation, development, or improvement of Fifeco-owned or independently developed processes in connection with customer work does not, by itself, transfer ownership of those processes or related Fifeco intellectual property.

Payment & Release Of Goods

Payment requirements for custom and commercial transactions will be governed by the applicable quotation, invoice, order terms, or written agreement.

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, finished goods will not be released, shipped, delivered, or made available for customer pickup until all amounts then due for those goods have been paid in accordance with the applicable payment terms.

Confidentiality, Proprietary Information & Publicity

Fifeco LLC respects confidential and proprietary information entrusted to it in connection with custom, commercial, and business-to-business relationships.

Fifeco does not use a customer’s proprietary work, intellectual property, product development, manufacturing relationship, production information, designs, trademarks, prototypes, or confidential business information as Fifeco marketing content without appropriate authorization.

Confidential or proprietary information received from a customer will be used only as reasonably necessary to evaluate, develop, quote, perform, support, or complete the authorized work, except as otherwise authorized by the customer or required by law.

Similarly, disclosure of Fifeco LLC’s confidential or proprietary information in connection with a project does not constitute permission to use, reproduce, disclose, transfer, or commercialize that information beyond the purpose for which it was provided.

Specific confidentiality, nondisclosure, publicity, or information-security requirements may also be established through a separate written agreement.

Pricing & Availability

Prices, product availability, service availability, specifications, production capacity, and lead times may change without notice unless otherwise established by an accepted quotation, order, or separate written agreement.

Fifeco LLC reserves the right to discontinue products or services, modify product or service offerings, and correct pricing or descriptive errors.

Scheduling, Production & Changes

Quoted or estimated production and completion times are based upon information, specifications, quantities, material availability, and production conditions known at the time of quotation or order acceptance unless a specific delivery commitment is expressly established in writing.

Changes requested after quotation or order acceptance—including changes to quantity, materials, dimensions, specifications, artwork, design, tolerances, packaging, or other requirements—may result in revised pricing, additional charges, or changes to the production or delivery schedule.

For commercial work, project-specific scheduling, quantities, capacity commitments, acceptance requirements, and delivery obligations may be established through the applicable quotation, order, or separate written agreement.

Board Care & Customer Responsibility

Customers are responsible for properly caring for wood products. Cutting boards should be hand washed, dried promptly, conditioned periodically, and never placed in a dishwasher or left submerged in water unless product-specific instructions expressly state otherwise.

Damage resulting from improper care, misuse, neglect, excessive moisture exposure, extreme temperatures, or failure to follow reasonable or product-specific care practices may not be covered by replacement or refund policies.

Limitation Of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Fifeco LLC shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising from the use of our products, services, or website.

Except where otherwise required by law or expressly established in a separate written agreement, Fifeco LLC’s liability, if any, shall be limited to the amount paid to Fifeco LLC for the applicable product or service giving rise to the claim.

Fifeco Website & Brand Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise noted, Fifeco LLC owns or has authorized rights to the original website content, photographs, product descriptions, graphics, logos, branding, designs, and other materials presented as Fifeco Woodworks content.

Fifeco-owned content may not be copied, reproduced, distributed, commercially exploited, or used without prior written permission.

Website Availability

We strive to maintain uninterrupted website access but do not guarantee continuous availability. Website functionality may be interrupted by maintenance, updates, technical issues, or events beyond our control.

Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the State of Louisiana, without regard to conflict-of-law provisions.

Changes To These Terms

Fifeco LLC reserves the right to modify these Terms & Conditions from time to time. Updates become effective upon posting to this page unless otherwise stated.

Changes to these Terms & Conditions do not, by themselves, modify the terms of a separately executed written agreement.
